I decided to join 36 Days of Type in 2020 on their 7th edition for this when the lockdown started and I had a lot more time for personal projects. I decided to do my own take on type, using collected digital collage materials to make letters and numbers with BTS as a theme. Each letter's content would be something representative of that letter and the elements/photos within it.
LETTERS
Each letter corresponds to a word related to BTS. It wasn't difficult to think of words that best represented each letter, starting off with A for ARMY, and B for BTS. I made sure to include the words in the entry itself, and follow a certain look to keep the letters consistent, as well as a color palette to tie them all together.
NUMBERS
Numbers were particularly tricky but I mostly used songs that started with numbers to leverage on BTS' wide discography.
All 36 letters and numbers from the Latin alphabet, completed in 2020.
